Viyella was originally a fabric, first woven in 1893 in England. The original Viyella fabric was a mixture of merino wool and cotton and soon after that date Viyella also started making clothing too. At first, Viyella cloth and Viyella clothing were separate businesses, but soon the Viyella name was offered out to manufacturers as a frachise of the Viyella label. These days Viyella is a general clothing fashon brand and the original Viyella cloth is no longer on sale. Viyella do still make mens shirts in a merino and wool blend with a different composition and Westaway and Westaway are pleased to be able to offer this Viyella shirt as part of our range. We also offer Viyella shirts in pure cotton, Viyella pure cotton short sleeve shirts and Viyella dressing gowns and pyjamas.
